Company outline
Maresia, located in the southern part of The Netherlands, undertakes the following activities:
1. Recycling of cars
Recycling of written-off cars is done according to strict ARN standards. Maresia collects these negative-valued cars at no cost (also from private persons) at one of our two branches where they are then completely stripped of oil, rubbers, insulating foams, tyres and so on, thus ensuring a controlled way of storage, transportation and processing.
2. Dismantling and sales of used car parts
Cars of recent build with total-loss damage are being dismantled with the parts being stored in a large storehouse and sold through insurance companies, garages, merchants and private persons.
3. Sales of damaged cars as well as older complete cars
Acquisition of damaged cars is mainly done through insurance companies and leasing companies. Sales are aimed at garages, merchants and private persons.
Maresia operates nationwide, though most of its activities are concentrated in the province of Noord-Brabant. Demand for parts, as well as cars being offered at our branches, are mainly from the Noord-Brabant region; demand for damaged cars of more recent build (through insurance companies) and demand for used car parts is from both this website and from the national car-parts (telephone) line. The latter occurs on a nationwide scale. Official traders (garages and car merchants) constitute roughly half of our customers, the other half being private persons.
From here, you can visit our Stock Online (NL), fill out the part request form or have a look at the damaged cars we have for the sale of parts at the moment.
